From 2003 the SAT in
English has
been quite different. Do not listen to what an older brother or sister
tells you! There was a further change in 2005: the two writing tasks
were both amalgamated into one writing paper.This is a summary list of the main changes:
3 papers, not 2
new set sections for Shakespeare and a new requirement to refer
to both
sections in your answer
no extension paper but level 8 still available for the TA
(teacher assessment) of your work in Y9
there are a long writing task and a short writing task;
your results will include separate levels for your reading and your writing skills
