  • Examine the ways in which appearance and reality are presented in RIII
  • Examine the ways in which the female characters are presented to us
  • Analyse the role/function of the soliloquies in RIII
  • Investigate the way in which R is presented to us as a tragic rather than simply a historical figure
  • Though thoroughly dislikeable, R nevertheless attracts audience sympathy, drawing us in as co-conspirators.Examine how Shakespeare achieves this.
